The Short
Member★ is a Patreon-like system whereby becoming a member, you can get early access, hi-resolution strips and other bonus for all my comics, including Sexy Losers. If you’re familiar with Patreon, you will know how it works.
Why Not Just Make a Patreon?
OK. Here’s the thing. Patreon is not stable. I’ve been using it for about 12 to 13 years and it has undergone several changes, usually to the detriment of its users. One of the biggest problems with Patreon is its reliance on PayPal, which is notoriously fickle and conservative. Sexy Losers has been burned by PayPal before, and while PayPal and Patreon have an agreement now does not mean it will continue in the future. As I said, PayPal is fickle and has been known to change their rules, forcing all of the people who use it, including Patreon, to comply.
Second, when you use Patreon, you’re really stuck using someone else’s website. You can only do what they allow you to do through their website. Also when you use Patreon, you’re going to someone else’s website and you’re essentially paying them to show you someone else’s content.
Third, so many creators are reliant on Patreon, and its kind of become a monopoly. I would like to do different things, so here we are.
What do Sexy Losers Readers Get?
Currently:
Early Access members get to read the comics before they are made public and I write about the comics as well, kind of a blog + comic thing. I also show panels in progress, especially for Sexy Losers work. Hi-Res Access members get the comic in the size I work with, in two versions: a lettered version (the one you see on the site) and the unlettered version so you can see the art without my written bullshit in the way. I have all the strips for 2025 available and will be adding more archives from previous years as I copy the Patreon content to the MemberStar site.
Also all the other content from my other comics (depression comix, The Dead Sisters, etc) will be availbale to you as well.
Finally …
Your support means a lot to me. It will help keep this site online, and free of advertisements (I really hate ads). It will also give me a reason to work on this site more rather than just the safe-for-work strips that I do to pay the bills. I hope you support my work and keep the fap alive.
