OK I get what you’re saying now. Mrs. Watanabe in the comics is not Shiunji’s mom. She is a replacement for Shiunji’s real mom, who was taxidermied and carried off by wild dogs after this strip (#106).
It’s good to see writers who can keep track of the little continuity details like this, especially after so many years, and many, many depraved strips.
I’ve always been drawn to your series. The premise of a man turning his deceased wife into a sex doll is simultaneously disturbing and darkly humorous.
For some reason, I first thought of Dr. Lovetalk. I think she would have a lot of potential.
Show her as a dol wild child running around outdoors playing by herself and her parents wishing she spent more time inside and would talk to other people once in awhile.
Probably the creepiest on would be Kenta’s mom. Maybe have a strip called Kenta’s Horny Grama, or Rumiko’s Horny Mom, where it turns out that she was the target of a lustful incest fantasy as well.
Finally, for some real fun, have Left Handed Mike and Michelle turn out to be cousins with the blind twins who keep knocking each other out in an attempt to get some incest nookie. Maybe they all realized that their feelings aren’t considered okay and found different unhealthy ways to cope.
This particular strip is a redraw of an older strip that got deleted from tumblr when it turned puritanical. There’s another strip with Mike and Mark getting the redraw treatment, and I’m halfway through drawing a new strip with the madame x (or in this case Mademoiselle X). A Rumiko strip is in the works as well, but she has normal parents in this one.
The Dad somehow reminds me of the father in the Calvin & Hobbes Comics. 😀
