Yes, this is a continuation of a storyline back in 2005 with #236. I meant to continue it but I couldn’t figure out how to draw 5 characters in a panel back then.
this one goes WAAAAY back to a storyline I just hadn’t continued where Mark tries to get into Mark’s wank school. This is me getting back into those old 2005 storylines.
Another excellent comic, and a wonderful birthday present (only 6 days late! 😉 ). Hope you and yours are safe, happy, and healthy. P.S. How is Mike’s sister Michelle doing? I think she’s the only one of this set of characters that didn’t appear.
Having recently discovered that there’s someone out there videoing themselves going “hands-free”, it’s absolutely possible to go silent mode. Mark just gets too much puss to bother with practice.
(Also, I know it might be the perspective, but Mike’s left hand looks massive in the last panel, like some armwrestling trucker’s… I wonder what’s his training regime?) 🤔
Lol. I wonder if any youngster coming here for the first time will accuse you of “stealing” the FAP onomatopoeia. Would be kinda like when the “beliebers” were accusing The Beatles of plagiarism.
No. It’s mostly people who grew up watching and loving Star Wars “raging” about Disney’s inability to write a coherent plot, evaporation of our cultural icons, and insertion of wokeness to pander to minorities (while simultaneously reducing or eliminating those minorities when the films are released overseas, showing how much Disney really gives a shit about them.)
Dismissing someone as a “neckbeard” when you know fuck all about them really just serves to show how insipid your own feeble attempt at argumentation is.
Just because you’re piggy backing on some valid points (noting how Disney pulled one scene, or reduces minority representation from foreign market adverts¹: do _you_ have a citation?), doesn’t make the criticism of the inclusion of it in other markets ok. The proper name for it is tokenism when the inclusion is meaningless to the story. That doesn’t mean that the representation should be removed, it means it must be done _better_. But thay isn’t what people were complaining about on the fan forums. The angle of the vast majority of complaints was raw bigotry (sexism, racism, and homophobia).
However, ignoring the enormous amount of bogotry spouted by people, regarding the last three films demonstrates exactly what the motivation for making this argument is.
Polishing of your comment with an unhinged amount of ad hominem underscores how close to home the ‘anti-woke neck-beard’ jibe was.
[1] Found two sources. First notes how the same-gender kiss _scene_ was removed in Singapore’s release. Second is talking about the reduction/removal of minority representation from the *posters*, not from the movie itself.
And “neckbeard” isn’t ad hominem in the world where your tiny little brain lives?
Sport, I’m a 25 year military veteran, self defense and firearms instructor with a masters degree in counterterrorism studies and two nonfiction books published (with three novels in production). If pretending I live in my Mom’s basement and fit some mythical incelibate label is what makes your peepee hard and passes for an argument with you, then knock yourself out.
I got as far as reading your bullshit about bigotry that ignored completely how one of the major complaints is how Finn’s character was left completely unexplored. Maybe if you stopped seeing Star Wars as a social justice avenue and started seeing it as modern mythology like it WAS until 2016, you wouldn’t come across as a bigoted, ignorant fuck stain on your own side.
I can’t be arsed to read any more of what you’re drooling into a keyboard. Good day to you.
In case I’m not being clear: fuck you.

I don’t really get the “evaporation of our cultural icons” bit when Star Wars is simply just Corporate Product; we’ve never had any ownership of anything Star Wars period, and that goes for Marvel and DC superheroes as well. The real trick here is that Corporate wants you to think this is a part of your culture but it holds the ownership so Corporate (not you) can do what it likes with this “culture”. Star Wars is just a product. We don’t own it, it isn’t ours, and if we don’t like it we don’t have to buy it … but to say these are cultural icons means you’re willing to leave your ideas of what is culture in a megacomglomorate’s hands and that is not a good thing to do in any case.

“They did it, so I will too!” Solid grade school level rationale. Thanks for the laugh. This rant is now so unhinged that I’m saving it for when I need a chuckle. Thank you for this service. I’m _certain_ it is the only service you’ve ever actually provided. Mr. Stolen Valour.

It works better if you read it as self-parody

Looking back, I couldn’t imagine my tongue-in-cheek comment would trigger such levels of hilarity… Certainly, there must but a lack of Preparation H for such an anal inflammation. I’m reminded of the early days of the Sexy Losers BBS, where I was crowned “WORST NEWBIE EVAR!!1”. Ahh, the memories…
