Well, another update, and another new thread. Basically, a guy and his talking penis. I had a lot of jokes running through my head when I first thought of this about a month ago, but there’s always something that gets in the way whenever I think of a new idea — the dreaded first strip. The first strip has to 1) introduce the characters 2) introduce the situation 3) be funny in a simple way, since the reader is already having to juggle a lot of new information. Sometimes it’s just painful. Looking at the Madame X series, there is NO WAY I could have started that series with a four panel strip. Hence it starts with an 8 panel strip. Situations are just painful to introduce in 4 panels and still be funny. Typical situations are fine — something as esoteric as a talking penis is not.
Nonetheless, I tried my best.
