I thought this one was clever. What would a sex doll do if brought to life, and had to live with the memories of the past? Kill herself, naturally. I love humour with an ironic element in it, being brought back to life just to give her the chance to kill herself and end her agony. I received a very cold reaction from some of my friends about this. (I should mention, at this point the comic still hadn’t taken off, and my primary source of feedback was the IRC channel I used to frequent). Anyways, this is the first appearance of the Dutch Wife Fairy. I thought I could milk the humour out of a fairy that brings sex dolls to life, and I had planned her as a recurring character. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much humour to milk out of that.
As for the Dutch Wife herself, I think I should have planned her dialogue out better in the third panel, to make it clear she was suffering and that she had a chance to end it. That would have made the irony I was intending to show more apparent.
The crying in frustration fairy in the last panel is cute, I think, and is a Kikuni Masahiko-type thing.
